Comrades,
This is my final newsletters to you as Post Commander. After four times as Commander, it is time to turn the controls over to someone else. It has been a pleasure (most of the time). For 2014-2015, I will serve as District 5 Commander.
I can finally report that our bathrooms are completed. They look absolutely wonderful!!! Other projects that we are looking at include new tile and walls in the bar area.
By the time you receive this newsletter, the VFW Commander in Chief will have visited our Post. His visit was scheduled for the evening of May 27th. Also, the Memorial Parade was held on May 26th. The State Convention will be held at the Kelly Inn in St. Cloud on the 4th thru the 8th of June. New Department Officers will be elected at this time. On June 8th, Gabe Pipo will take over as Post 936 Commander.
Our next Post meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 10th at 7:15. As usual, a Veteran’s dinner will be held prior to the meeting beginning at 4:30. Hope to see you all there.
